Prairie Grass Festival 2026

Be Part of a Unique Western Minnesota Experience

September 19, 2026 · Lac qui Parle County Fairgrounds · Madison, Minnesota

Prairie Grass Festival is bringing a full day of music, activities, local businesses, nonprofits, education, and community together at the Lac qui Parle County Fairgrounds.

The Prairie Grass Festival is an all-ages event on the Midway focused on community, mental health awareness and prevention. All ages, all genders, all inclusive, because every life matters. Festival activities include live music and youth performance art, a No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, Disc N Dogs disc golf tournament, cottage and craft vendors, tattoo artists, nonprofits, community resources, and more.

Operating separately within the fairgrounds will be the Prairie Grass Cannabis Marketplace, a controlled 21+ licensed cannabis event featuring Minnesota's regulated cannabis industry, adult consumer education, licensed retail activity, and a designated consumption area.

Together, these events create an opportunity for businesses and organizations to connect with Western Minnesota while supporting an event built around community, education, and connection.
